My role:
Research, concept, branding, web design, user experience, typography and layout, photography.
Tools:
Illustrator, Photoshop, HTML & CSS, Lightroom. Canon 5DMIV and pen and paper for sketching.
Problem:
Creation of an information site for a construction company, in which it will be possible to see all the current and under construction projects of the company. The site should include the ability to submit a construction application. Also, all projects should be shown on the map, where you can see the geography of construction projects and constructed facilities.
Challenge:
All projects must be photographed and mapped. Also, make up a convenient and simple application form, including the required fields and information on how to contact the company.
Solution:
A large photo session was taken of all the objects inside and outside. An analysis was made of the design of these objects and their general stylistics. Only the logo was provided by the client. Based on the analysis of the house shapes, as well as the company logo, a corporate identity was created and the company's website was developed, and an emphasis was placed on the application form.

research:
The main task of the search was to find similar sites and companies in order to study their structure. Three competitor sites were taken:
www.dhseattle.com
www.db-gc.com
www.sellen.com
Their structure, site ergonomics and the amount of information submitted were analyzed, on the basis of this, three conclusions and directions were made for the development of our project:
– make a lightweight and not overloaded site. Competitors' websites are heavily loaded with information, half of which can be removed without losing meaning.
– arrangement of elements as close as possible to each other
– place only the main information

solution:
Based on the analysis, it was decided to place the following sections on the home page:
– header with phone numbers, application button, quality mark and social networks
– center banner with a good photo
– main directions
– last built objects
– application form
– a short description of the company
– footer with main links

Responsive website:
The site is designed for easy use for people who are usually looking for construction companies. It is designed for easy use on a mobile device. Simple and large navigation, no unnecessary details and a minimum of fields in the application field. This was a key decision after analyzing the market and competitors, as well as after interviewing potential customers.
The fonts section and color palette are especially important when developing a corporate identity and using it on a website. The choice was made in favor of the existing logo colors + an additional gray-blue color.
Key screens:
In the development of the site, special attention was paid to the application form in order to make it as simple and understandable as possible for a potential client. And also make a project page. For the projects page, the task was to make it so that it was convenient to see and find all the company's projects on the map.
Closing Thoughts:
This is the first time I've worked on such a large-scale project. The tasks were also very versatile and general. I needed to photograph over 5 objects all over Seattle. The main challenge for me was to make the site of a large company simple and light, so that it would not be overloaded. I am grateful to the management of the company who gave me enough freedom to move the project. Unfortunately, the direction of the company changed, and the project remained only in the archives.
